Day 1: Departure

International flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Tanzania.

Day 2: Arrival in Arusha

Transfer & Lodge

• Personal meet-and-greet at Kilimanjaro International Airport

• Ground-floor cottages, short walking distances, easy vehicle access, and a calm garden with no steep slopes or stairs
• Time set aside to rest and recover after arrival

Afternoon, choose one

• Tingatinga painting workshop — fully seated, wheelchair-friendly, led by a local Tanzanian artist
• Sunset drinks at Gran Meliá Arusha rooftop — elevator access, comfortable seating, panoramic views of Mount Meru without needing to stand or move
• Visit to Shanga — a social enterprise where artisans with disabilities craft handmade products from recycled materials; fully accessible and focused on inclusion

Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Game drive

• Relaxed, mobility-friendly game viewing in Tarangire, known for large elephant herds and iconic baobab landscapes

Overnight — Ngorongoro Farm House, Karatu

• Flat coffee estate terrain with ground-floor cottages
• Easy movement between vehicle drop-off points and main areas

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Ndutu (South Serengeti)

The journey

• Depart after breakfast, traveling through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Ndutu
• 3.5–4.5 hour drive, fully vehicle-based and accessible, avoiding steep viewpoints
• Ndutu is known for exceptional wildlife viewing and, seasonally, the Great Migration calving season

Overnight — Ndutu Safari Lodge

• Flat layout with short distances between rooms and shared areas
• Direct vehicle access to lodge buildings
• Stone cottages on level ground; lounge and dining areas close together

Evening

• Traditional safari sundowner around the campfire in a spacious, level, easy-access setting

Day 5: Ndutu to Serengeti Center

The journey

• Continue into Serengeti National Park — the drive itself is part of the safari experience, with continuous game viewing
• 4.5–6 hour drive to Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge in Central Serengeti, with optional stops at accessible rest/viewing points

Overnight — Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

• Spacious pathways and ramp-assisted access to main areas
• Tents located close to shared facilities
• Relatively even terrain compared to more remote bush camps

Day 6: Serengeti Center — Flexible Day

• Fully flexible schedule built entirely around guest comfort, pace, and mobility
• Morning game drive, then return to the lodge for lunch and rest
• Optional second, shorter drive in the afternoon depending on preference
• Second night at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

The journey

• 3.5–4.5 hour drive to the crater gate through scenic highlands, fully comfortable for accessible travel

Ngorongoro Crater

• Entire visit is vehicle-based, ideal for guests with mobility needs
• Optional private picnic permit — a reserved, ranger-approved site away from crowded public areas

Day 8: Transfer to JRO or Arusha Airport

Morning

• Optional visit to a family-owned coffee farm for a seated coffee-tasting experience; paths are slightly uneven but only 50–100 metres from the vehicle, with the rest of the experience enjoyed seated

Departure
